Guidance & Counselling
Counsellors and teacher-counsellors share a crucial role in ensuring all students reach their full potential, by helping students navigate their academic, social, and emotional growth and supporting them develop their individuality. Interactive sessions being organised in the Vidyalaya help solve problems and to create effective communication. Special Behavioural Therapy Sessions are conducted whenever detectable behavioural and social issues are observed in children. Counselling and CDC (Child Development Centre) are duly involved whenever the situation so demands. CDC also intervenes in those circumstances where delayed development is observed. Learning difficulty issues are also dealt with at the Vidyalaya level by providing them with individual attention and care. Children are meticulously guided and diligently directed to set goals that focus on their strengths. By addressing students’ individual needs, we, at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, CPCRI, assist students to engage themselves in a learning process that undeniably helps them reap the benefits of education.
